What is Glamping?

If you’re not a business owner in the glamping niche, then the word ‘glamping’ might sound a little odd. Bit it’s just a rather clever way of saying ‘Glamorous Camping’. This entails having all the outside experience of camping, but with a bit of luxury thrown in.

You may be out in the wilds, but will be doing it in style. You will probably have flushing toilets, showers, comfortable beds… even carpets! This is done with a certain amount of high style and most glamping business owner sites pride themselves on that little extra bit of luxury during your stay.

Accommodation can be varied and all offer something unique. Yurts, Pods, Tipi’s, Tree houses or Eco-lodges are the usual order of the day, but some can be out of the way shacks in the middle of nowhere on their own little plot of land with all essential amenities.

Glamping is perfect for those who would love to experience the great outdoors but not compromise of comfort.
